Shami Falafel has easily become one of my favorite local spots. Selfishly, I almost do not want people to know how good it is so I can gate keep it. Food is excellent. Really reminds me of a home cooked meal and the service is so kind. I always order the daily special which comes with Chicken Shawarma and Fries with a Soda. They make the fries pretty fresh so they’re usually nice a crispy when I get them. Also only 12ish! Only knock I will say is they can get busy and sometimes the food is being made fresh so there can be some wait time. I will say on average it will take about 20-30 min for the food to be made. But again super nice environment and I will wait and eat here every time
Food was insane, best Mediterranean dishes I’ve tasted since going to Greece, and hospitality was amazing! I will be coming back!!!

I’ve traveled up and down the east coast and this is by far one of the best meals I’ve ever had. From flavor to presentation it’s all amazing. You can taste the craft that went into your food. Blown away by this little restaurant that I happened to just breeze into.

Hubby has been wanting to try this place. I am so glad we get to try their food today. We ordered the following for takeout - lamb shawarma platter (lamb, salad, hummus), grape leaves and baklava. Oh wow!! Everything tastes so good. The lamb has this complex savory taste.. it is hard to explain but it was so delicious. The hummus is also yummy. The platter come with 2 sauces which are equally unique and yummy, one is spicy and other is like garlic mayo airline. Grape leaves are also good. We've tried other grape leaves before but these are superb. Baklava is just a great dessert which makes the meal complete. The food is highly recommended. We will be back to try other items in the menu. Ohh while waiting for our takeout order, the kind lady offered us some tea. Thank youuuuuuu....
Loved the food. I had the hummus and babaganoush. It was fantastic. My friend tried the chicken shawarma and it also tasted fantastic. Can't wait to come back and try everything else! The mint lemonade was awesome!
Think this is the best falafel sandwich I’ve had anywhere—it’s unforgettable, a must-try. So consistent, as well. This place is worthy—owned and operated by a lovely family, and truly authentic.
